
Blackening Seasoning
¾ tsp coarse Kosher salt
½ tsp cracked black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp dried oregano
½ tsp dried thyme
½ tsp smoked paprika
⅛ tsp cayenne
Salmon
2 salmon portions (6-7 oz)
12 tsp olive oil

1. Preheat oven to 500°F.
2. Pat salmon dry with a paper towel.
3. Drizzle ~¾ tsp olive oil over each piece.
4. Mix seasoning and generously coat the top of each portion.
5. Add a light final drizzle of olive oil.
6. Place salmon on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
7. Bake for 12 minutes, until edges are crisp and the center is tender.
