Honey Sesame Salmon
2 6 oz Salmon portions
1 tbsp Sesame oil
2 tsp Soy sauce or coconut aminos
2 tsp Honey
½ Lime, juice of
Salmon Bowl
4 cups Cooked white rice
½ Cucumber, thinly sliced
¼ Red onion, thinly sliced
1 tbsp Prepared sushi ginger
1 tbsp Green onion, sliced for garnish
½ Serrano pepper, sliced
Toasted sesame seeds for garnish and texture
¼ cup Ponzu sauce
Creamy Spicy Sauce
2 tbsp Helman's mayo
2 tbsp Sriracha sauce
Honey Sesame Salmon
2Add the salmon to a parchment lined baking sheet and pat dry with a paper towel
3Season the salmon with black pepper and about 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
4Make the Honey Sesame sauce by combining the honey, lime, sesame oil and soy sauce in a small bowl
5Drizzle about 1-2 tbsp of the Honey Sesame sauce over each piece of salmon making sure all sides are seasoned
6Roast at 500 for 12-15 mins (12 is medium rare and 15 is medium well)
7When the salmon has cooked, top w toasted sesame seeds
Creamy Spicy Sauce
8Combine the mayo and Sriracha and mix until smooth
Salmon Bowl
9To assemble the bowls, add a layer of white rice to a bowl and top with sliced cucumbers, sliced onion and sushi ginger
10Garnish the bowl with sesame seeds, green onions and lime wedges
11To serve, drizzle on some Ponzu sauce and top with the creamy spicy sauce
